How to Write Better Prompts for AI Workflow Generation

Hacroo Technologies · 3 min read

The quality of an AI-generated automation depends heavily on how clearly you describe it. A few habits that make a real difference:

Name the trigger explicitly

"When a form is submitted" is clearer than "when someone signs up," which could mean several different events.

List every step in order

"Save it to Airtable and email the team" is two steps — say both, in the order they should happen.

Name the tools you actually use

"Send a Slack message" beats "notify the team," since it removes a guess about which channel you mean.

Say what should happen if something fails

Even a simple "if it fails, email me" turns a fragile workflow into a resilient one.

Gydmation AI is built to ask a clarifying question when a request is genuinely ambiguous rather than silently guessing — but the clearer your starting description, the fewer questions it needs to ask.
