Self-hosted automation means the workflow runs on infrastructure you control — your own server, your own cloud account, your own machine. Your data doesn't have to leave your environment just to get automated. This is the whole design principle behind Gydmation AI: it's self-hosted via Docker, so your prompts and workflows stay on your machine, not ours.
This isn't about distrust of every cloud service — it's about not defaulting to sending sensitive data somewhere it doesn't need to go, when a self-hosted option does the same job just as well.
